Which do you guys think is the best? i can get any of em.
Preference. It’s all about the shape/weight of these yoyos. And response. Which shape looks better to you?
I have tried the X-Con and DM and I like the DM more. I lubed it and got a new bearing so it spins for 3 minutes. I sold it so I can get a Skyline though. The DM is really easy to learn on and fun to use overall.
You could get either of the three and be happy. They are great for intermediate through advanced part 2.
My Hitman has been getting a lot of love lately, but if I really had to choose one, it would be the DM
But its all about personal preference:
- What size do you prefer? (Big, small, medium, etc)
- What shape do you prefer? (Be specific: Round Butterfly, Flat Rims, pointy shape, H-Shape)
- What response do you prefer? (Silicone, O-Ring, Hybrid, Pad, etc)
- Do you like to mod/maintain it?
- Does color matter?
- How does your style relate to the yoyo? (What kind of tricks do you like to do?)
- What is your price range?
- What is your skill level?
DM because it is light but not too light, metal rimed, sleeps long, good for any 1a trick, amazing for combos and really nice for thumb grinds. that’s what i think

I personally like the Dark Magic and X-conVict. It’s a split decision for me. Probably Dark Magic though.
I wonder what yoyos you are using… 
Hitman. And I would go with the hybrid, not O-Ring. Its a little less responsive.
i have tried all three of them: my favorite was the hitman because of it shape and play. The X-convict was real good but it wasn’t good in shape (my opinion). Same With the Dark magic great play but it was a little big.

I’ve used all three, and although I love me some big, meaty yoyos, I think the Hitman was the best all-around player. Very nice yoyo there.
Then again, my DM is very messed up.

ahh…such a common question. i cant say, ive had a dm, im getting a x-con soon, and have tried a hitman (not the greatest condition), and i have to say, the dm rox, i like the x-cons shape the most, and dont have mutch to say on the hitman.
ps. its funny that here (the website that promotes the dm) everyone(almost) likes the dm, but on ynn or theyo, people give it a bad rep

The X-ConVict is very good. Nearly as good as the Hitman. I don’t like how big the rims are. Its like a huge chunk of metal there and barely any plastic. They do provide long spin times though.
You can try changing the rubber o-rings to silicone o-rings. It would make it less responsive after breaking it.
For the hybrid version, you may slip some binds and the string wears out more easily if the it keeps rubbing against the starbursts.
