Yesterday I received my new dark magic II and I switched it from the responsive to be unresponsive bearing. While doing this, I used a plier, which seemed to have damaged the plastic around the bearing a bit. Now, when I rub my finger across the surface, it is uneven. Will this effect spin time?

YYJ bearings are not plastic…

Can you tell us if it works?
I mean the part that surrounds the bearing once the bearing is placed back in the yoyo. It seems to be spinning alright, though not as long as my last dark magic II.
Why do you use pliers in the first place? The solid spin axle system usually doesn’t have tight bearing seats.
