No I have not experienced that but if you’ve had yours for a long time, maybe your axle is loose. If that happens, go take a look at the maintenance section on loose axles on yoyoexpert, maybe it will give you some ideas… hopefully… 
make sure that when you twist it loose for a wide gap that you dont unscrew it too much. You also might of stripped the axle. did you tinker with it? or is it still stock.
Well what you can do is go to a hardware and get this thing called Loctite. Put Loctite on the axle and screw it back on the yoyo.

Well I’ve never tinkered with it and have only had it for 6 or 7 days.
But all is well because yoyoexpert is sending me a new one.
I would just put some blue loctite threadlocker on it.
