I just bought two crescendos for 3a and 1a and was wandering how their do and how do they play with xl strings

Yo I got a pair. They are very very good imo. Wider than players traditionally use for 3a but definitely a manageable width. Feels awesome for riskier stuff like the extra wide catch zone. Stable for a while but rolls off more like mono metals do vs bimetals where they can seem yo eek out a bit more at lower rpms. Maybe thats the width I don’t know. Still are super stable and have plenty of power and spin time. Also just a fun yoyo to play like feels good in hand and feels great rolling around actually doing tricks. One of my fav pairs. Mine have been super durable so far like haven’t developed crazy wobbles or anything. Just use whatever the thickest string you can find is imo it sucks when binds slip and using short 3a length string makes binds feel more prone to slipping more
Well damn are the crescendo resistent and thanks for the help
The look like they have gone thru sand paper
