Is the big dipper going to be good for fingerspins? Also, will it be a limited edition like the yeti?
Im going to assume no because its made of plastic…
It’s a plastic, so I doubt it. Not to mention it has a little nub in the hub. 
I think it’s not so much as the fact that it’s plastic, but the fact that the cup isn’t textured or blasted.
But yeah, I don’t think it would fingerspin very well.

The hub never stopped me from trying to spin any other CLYW (especially with the short hub…Borealis, Puffin). But since this is shiny polycarb, not likely.

It’s not going to be anywhere near a yoyo that is designed for it though.
The Big Dipper isn’t great for fingerspins, but if you’re great at fingerspins it will work just fine.

Correct. new wave of colorways is all with the Borialis.
Debating on getting one tonight or holding off til next week as I also want the YYO Tusk and Shift, can get it all shipped together. Just hoping that the Dipper isn’t going to be the next Yeti where people hoard them and sell them on Ebay for $200+.
Same here. It may be that way initially, but I don’t think it will remain that way long-term since I believe Big Dippers will be produced in much greater quantities than the Yeti. I certainly expect to see people snatch them up the first one or two runs and then try to resell them for 2, 3, or even 4 times their retail value. Always happens with highly anticipated throws, especially from CLYW. However, the outsourced production on these means they will be able to produce lots of them so everyone should have a chance at getting one (hopefully).

No crap, what was with the we’ll have plenty remarks CLYW was handing out lol. I waited until a few minutes after orders opened assuming there would be plenty and had to go to three sites before I could get through the check out process with one of them.
I had intended to buy a pair and only made it through with one. This is really starting to piss me off. Last time it was the scout in rainbow trout, I waited with finger on the clicker at exactly the time and missed out on them. I decided because of that I will never own one I was so pissed, and now the same thing with the $35 plastic yoyo, really sucks.
But they haven’t sold out yet? There’s still ~300 left or am I just slow to receive the updated stock info?

Heero you might have to wait for the stock amount to actually load that happens often with serious drops like this.
EDI: i just finished my transaction like 2 mins ago and got two milkshake plus a grape from another store it was on the just in case i couldnt get one 
I snagged an Emerald, Looks like theres around 70 of the grape and Milkshake, and only 50ish of the Emeralds left. It took me around 25 minutes to finally be able to check out. lol
I kept getting timeout errors and even SQL DB errors popping up.
What are you guys talking about? I see at least 50+ for each one, and 30 for Emerald right now
