Was this a regular production return top? Or was it a prototype that was sold as they worked towards the scout?
I was away from the scene when these were sold.

The advance scout was a prototype for the scout. However, CLYW really liked this design, so they made a full run of these that came out months before the scout. There are well over 100, in 5 solid colors I believe.

Correct. The advanced scout and scout are slightly different. I believe the advanced scout was a little lighter with slightly bigger nub and inner ring? Correct me if I’m wrong.
