But I received the best gift about 30 minutes ago. My wife needed surgery and I just heard from the Dr that she’s doing well and that I’ll be able go see her in about 15 minutes. I’m so happy right now.

My most notable gifts were a Duncan Bassacuda with Kitty String and a mid-80’s Marshall guitar amplifier (which was surprising and very cool).
I’m really quite thrilled with the Bassacuda, it’s an excellent all-around player for it’s price. In some way I can’t quite put my finger on, it feels more hollow than my favorite CLYW throws, but not in a bad way. It’s been my go-to for taking out in public ever since Christmas 
Awesome about the old Marshall amp. Pretty jealous. I had a dream where I found like a super vintage Marshall amp. Sadly I woke up and realized it wasn’t true.

It’s not a huge stack or anything, it’s a Marshall Lead 12 Combo. It’s honestly the best sounding practice amp I’ve ever heard. I hear they’re going up in value as people discover their existence, so now’s a good time to consider picking one up if you want another cool practice amp
i got no money or time for my guitars unfortunately. When the kids get older however, I will def be playing more. I got a Marshall dfx100 combo and it is LOUD!!! I haven’t used it passed 2 on the volume cause i feel it will shatter my windows. Heavy practice(if you even wanna call it that)amp.
Ah man, well at least you will have more time. And that dfx100 sounds sweet. My main practice amp has been a cheap Line 6 Spider up till now, so a nice Marshall was a welcome upgrade.
