I’ve been attempting this trick for a while and only land it rarely when the conditions are just perfect.
I don’t know if I’m calling it the right thing or mot but the trick is basically
Get into chopstick mount,
Suicide the whole thing,
and catching it back into a chopstick mount.
Can anyone help me get this trick more consistently?
Yeah, it’s called Chopsticks Suicide. It’s a rather tough trick that just takes lots of practice to figure out how to do it well and then to get consistent.
Brett Grimes (ibanezcollector) seems to be consistent with them. You could try PMing him for some tips or so. Or search him up on youtube (ibanezcollector/onedropdesign) and watch some of his vids(he does them some-what frequently)
The key with doing suicides from a thumb mount is to make sure your index finger gets in it’s loop first. This will buy you a split second of extra time to get your thumb in it’s loop. You have to get your index finger in first because the thumb will not hold the mount alone.
