This is pretty self-explanatory… What is the least expensive method of making a metal drifter unresponsive?
Clean the bearing and remove one response sticker.

If that is too slippy on binds, you could use a used up friction sticker. The fabric is grippier than the metal, but doesn’t tug(I think).
Removing one sticker has been the accepted method for the FHZ and drifters. Never had a problem with binds with that setup.
+1 for remove a sticker.
Also don’t clean the bearing, just play it in. It will start off really responsive but will soon mellow out.
