I recommend a cheap bearing like what yoyojam uses. I’ve gotten 6 minute times out of one!

Yes, I did say I’m a beginner. My point was that there is no noticeable difference between the two bearings., and for an expert, probably not much difference from a standard bearing.

Center trac will have no mechanical advantage in static sleeping. It is when multiple strings are inserted into the gap and the yo-yo is sliding it will have an advantage.
That being said, It still a very nice bearing for long spins
