The newish Kitty String bags… why is the opening so small?? What am I missing?
I thought maybe you pull a single string out and everyone is happy. This is not the case.

Its so frustrating, i pull the whole bundle out snd repack, then leave the strap with string ends sticking out, allows me to pull single strings

I’ve always had to unravel bulk string bundles to pull individual ones out which is less than ideal

I mainly use Kitty that comes in these bags. I just cut the bag open, throw the strap away, zip tie the loop end and the middle, and hang it on a hook

I like the zip tie idea. I’ve used twist ties before.
I too just tare that bag open and toss it. I just can’t figure out why they would spend the money for a zip lock and just make it so small. Weird.

Maybe the Kitty Video can help you out. You kinda of do this same technique with the bag, to pull individual strings out of the bunch.

Thanks! Hadn’t seen that. I usually pull from the end with the small knot.
That method would seem to work after pulling the whole bundle out and repositioning so that part of the loop is at the top. Maybe mine was and I didn’t notice. I have an unopened pack at home that I’ll give that a try on.
