I was starting to get burned out with the whole yo-yo scene when the 888 was introduced. That’s why I never got one.
Just seems everyone still holds it in high regards.
I would assume that YYF still has all the specs on file to run a special edition.
Is it because hubstacks are not a preferred way to play that there hasn’t been a re-issue off the 888?

Looks from the first pic that yours didn’t have the small YYF. Mine doesn’t either.
No it didn’t.
That yoyo forever changed what I considered ‘smooth’ to be - and that was with hubstacks nontheless! Amazing yoyo to this day!

I had quite a few, including some collectable ones.
Never quite bonded with them, I know I’m in the minority.
Wish I kept due to the current value though.

99% sure the tiny yyf logo was added when they switched production to china on these but I could be wrong.

Logo added in 2007. 07,08,09,11 all made in USA.
