Can a stripped axle (female end) be fixed?

So I’ve had a YFF 44 for almost a year now. It seems like it got shipped with the wrong size axle (8mm instead of 10mm) and after screwing and unscrewing my yoyo over the duration of my ownership it has stripped the yoyo of most of the threads necessary to hold the axle so I cannot possibly retighten my yoyo.

Can this be fixed? Is there someone I could send it to? Or is my yoyo just… broken?

I’d recommend the same. If you can’t get it replaced, though, you can contact a modder to get it rethreaded to a larger axle size.
