i have two ripcords and trying to convert one of them to a bearing king. does anyone know if this can be done?
I’ve heard @Neff say it’s possible. I think you just swap the tip for a bearing tip of the same size. No idea where you’d get a hold of one though
Aye, 'tis possible. I have a couple of kits, hit me up! Thanks for the tag @LukeSherman
thats great to hear. i was worried they may not interchange.
@Neff I just joined this site to try to message you about this. Do you have any kits left? I couldn’t figure out how to send a pm on here but I’m really interested in picking up a few conversion kits if you have any available. Thanks.
Yes, you can really just swap the fixed tip for the bearing tip. However, the bearing king had an extra a size bearing on the inside that the bearing tip would clip into. The bearing king also had an oring weight ring right inside the cap area. The rip cord and bearing king bodies and caps are identical so have some fun swapping colors and replacing cracked pieces.
Where would I get an extra tip? I recently found a bearing king and converted my rip cord with the spare tip but now I want to make another and ca not find any bearing king’s for sale or any tips.
