Binding during super flow?

I’m trying to get a hold on Super Flow, but 80% of the time when I flip the yo-yo over my hands to get into the sub mount it binds on me. Any tips? Throw is a YYF Horizon.

Edit: just checked on my Grind Machine and it does the same thing.

Try putting your hands closer together before you roll into the sub mount, and try to make the swing one smooth motion such that you don’t get any slack in the string. Slack in the string can cause it to bind up on you.

@BossTortuga basically said what I was going to. You’ve got some slack forming that is causing the snag. “Tighten up” your movement right before the binding has been occuring and you should be good.

Thank you a ton! I was keeping my hands way too far apart, when I put them next to each other and swung it worked flawlessly.
