Bimetal with weight ring encased inside the yoyo?

closest I can think is that

the thread ended here?? this is the obvious answer to your question

other idea: you could hide the rings with another ring made of electrical tape or some similar opaque tapery or cassette. then, you get one of those cool silver sharpies that people use to sign basketballs and you color the tape silver. because of the effects of the law of silver things, this would change the tape into aluminum and would effectively embed the ring.

Heā€™s just a really, really humble guy

;D ;D ;D

I think itā€™s somewhat possible, but youā€™ll need three pieces, something like two aluminum and one stainless for each half. Put the stainless ring inside the cup, then enclose it with the other aluminum. The ā€˜capā€™ doesnā€™t have to be a full body; probably just enclose the stainless part.
Maybe, just maybe, the stainless ring will stay better because there is more friction necessary to move both the stainless ring and aluminum ā€˜capā€™ around, instead of just stainless ring there exposed.
But then again it isnā€™t cool not having stainless rings exposed. Itā€™s like buying a lamborghini then mod the body to look like a civic.

not bimetal but bimaterial ā€¦ when it is mounted it is invisible

Thatā€™s pretty cool! What is the yoyo? Did you insert the rings?

Yes, is ring in iron.
The yoyo is Adegle Asteroid and it was done to try to improve his playability, since it is bad because of the provision of completely wrong weights.
