Biggest Beater

Call them battle scars or personality marks, it’s inevitable that if you play with a yoyo long enough, it’s gonna get dinged up. What’s your most beat up yoyo and why?

N12 shark honor

When I got back in to yoyoing I used it to relearn what string length I needed and to relearn old tricks. It is a solid yoyo that still plays smooth and now I use it with a long string to learn slack tricks

Probably my shutter, it came with a ding, so I felt okay using it for 5A, so now it has a few more scars. It’s good at finding rocks in my yard.

I also have a p000 I got used with a LOT of battle damage, and a cracked hub, I tried gluing it but I don’t think the glue got in great. Still plays awesome, however.

Finally my other 5a beater is a Yeti 2 b grade that got pretty bad cracking around the hub as well, super glued it and now it feels pretty strong (for what it is)

54 gen 2. it’s the first one i threw into the pavement (hard), it’s comfy fun and capable, and it uses se’s so if i really crank it and bend the axle or strip the threads i can just swap se’s and it’s fine

My Dark Magic was smashed and rebuilt multiple times. Ended up in the bin, other than butterflys it’s the only yoyo I’ve broken beyond repair.
It’s the yoyo I learnt to throw freehand and offstring on. First time I played it outside I scraped the brick floor pretty hard

YYF Flame. I’ve had it for 4 years and it’s still one of my favorites. But it’s hit the floor SO much in the beginning of my Unresponsive journey that it has a LOT of scars.

I realized I’m asking everyone but not telling what mine is. Should probably go without saying, but my Summer Solstice is the one with the most mileage and the most scars to go with it. However, the first yoyo I ever got, a Magicyoyo V3, has scars from me walking the dog on concrete with it, and hitting it hard on said concrete. I gave it to my little brother, but most of the damage on it is from me

A JDS Shutter I bought second hand already beat up. I’ve added a couple of my own, it’s the one I take with me a lot of the time because it’s already battered and bruised. Spends most of its time hanging off my lunch bag collecting more dings when I bash it off stuff accidentally
