What is the best string for fixed axle? 50/50 or just all cotton

I’ve always heard that straight cotton was the best string to use. Correct me if I’m wron, but I’m pretty sure the poly I’m the 50/50 could melt.

Just go for 100% cotton if you’re doing fixed axle. No sense in using any poly when it could potentially melt and break on the first throw

I use 50/50 and it’s fine
