What are some best practices when considering a trade with a brand new member? I read the stickied rules above. Any further guidelines or advice?

Use a third party. Someone would do it.

Can you explain what you mean by a third party? How does that work?

Both parties send their yoyos to a more established member, and once both are received, they pass them along? That way if one party does not follow through, the yoyo that was received is just sent back to the original owner, and the only thing lost is double shipping costs?
