i would think you should get a journey but this is just our opinion you should get wat suits you best

Yes, the Journey is a great beginner one because it can be responsive for learning the basics and can then be unresponsive for the more advanced tricks. However, this goes for many yoyos. In my opinion, your best bet is either a Brain or a YYJ plastic (Projam, Journey, Kickside - only real difference is response).
