Overall: I like my yoyos smooth, precise, and playable. I like them to be maneuverable floaters, finely tuned instruments, and fast furious machines. Yeah, i expect a lot from my yoyos. so l decided to expect a lot from CLYW. The Bassalope came through in flying colors. Sebastian Brock has spoilt me beyond recognition.
First Impressions: WOW. looks so smooth, a nice matt finish. Just LOOKS like a great player. ( its actually a GREAT player.) is an undersized yoyo, a tad bigger than the 888. but not by much. fits in your hand like a glove. i dont know how a yoyo can fit like a glove, but it seemed an appropriate simile. The large bearing is great, and coupled with the original yoyo, wow. I normally mod my yoyos in some way or another, but this required nothing to become the smoothest player in my collection.
First throw: Really nice. Very fast. very fast. My speed on superman nearly doubled. Sleeps longer than a 18 year old after the last day of final exams. I learned Ladder escape on it in less than an hour. The silicone ipads are great. when i saw :Silicone i pads" i thought, oh, no, this is going to be like GHOST pads. was i wrong, or was i wrong. (hint: option #2). they play great. the gap size is optimal, smooth enough to conquer even the most difficult of tricks. now here is a yoyo. truly one of the best.
After a while: Still my favorite. its not too light, not too heavy, like bud lite. ( or so im told.) this is a beast of a yoyo, i wish I had 2 but, sigh… allowance hurries for no man. GET ONE. The best thing since canned bread.
