I got my shutter wide angle about a week ago, and I absolutely love it. BUT, the big one big problem with it is that it keeps unscrewing itself mid-spin. Sometimes it completely falls apart and goes all over the place, dinging the two halves. Do yall have any recommendations on how to make this stop?

How tight will it screw together? It may be stripped and not tightening enough, or it simply hasn’t been tightened enough yet. With a proper tightening this shouldn’t happen. Try to get a good close up pic of the threads in both halves so you can see what condition they’re in.

Another trick is to put a couple of wraps of plumbers teflon tape on the axle.

I have some yo-yos that unscrew too easily after being tightened the correct amount and think the plumbers tape might be the solution here
use a thread locker, use it at the axle side without the hex “hole?” this is better than using plumber tape
