All yoyo’s have been made.
Correct. Totally true. Fact.
…any throws that haven’t been made, have not been made. Also a fact.

As long as you’re not in denial of the existence of an experience, it’s impossible to fool yourself. On the flip side, if you can’t have the judgment of making a choice, you aren’t making a choice. It’s the old fate versus free will.

I’ll sell you a different color of bearing. Maybe a different shape. Or how about some special bearing cleaner? It also grants you a wish.
What you’re really being fooled about is that your money may be something real and also not worth enjoying yoyos with.
What is really amazing about what you said can also be used to describe yo-yo players themselves.
And by the way…. Few yo-yo designs are ever ‘rehashed’.
All yo-yo designs have not been made already.
As a matter of fact, only a small percentage of potential designs have been done at this point in time.
New unhashed designs are coming out all the time. It’s not just about changing the weight. It’s about strategically placing the weight to accomplish the intent of the yo-yo. There are so many different materials and/or/combinations of materials still to be used in new designs.
The possibilities are endless.
When you started this thread, you asked ‘Are we being fooled’?
And then, 20 something days later, you state that most yo-yo designs have already been done.
Nobody is being ‘fooled’.
On a scale of 1 to 100, 100 representing how accurate your theory is and zero representing how horribly inaccurate your contentions are………. You are sitting pretty darn close to a big fat Zero.
Um… no.
We all have the same name.
Clearly we are all named “doc”

I think I am being fooled, therefore I am being fooled.
Since you were there and I wasn’t, I gotta ask: Was JC throwing a wooden Spinworthy?

Heck yeah!!! you stole the words out of my mouth. RBC is proof that their are design frontiers that have yet to be explored. On that note, I just want to say now im 2+ weeks into owning my 2 RBC’s, and I still can’t put them down. what a masterpiece. one should be mounted on the wall right next to the Mona Lisa.
I can give a good guess who made them, I mean Jesus WAS a woodworker after all…

Didn’t the US Patent Office once say that everything possible had been invented in the early 1900s?
Creative minds are limitless.
Nah, i don’t think so at all. Even yoyos that are very very similar, basically the same, like a FHZ and a fh1. Can’t really tell by looking at it, but there is a slight difference in how they play and feel.
