(it was discontinued in 2016 but you can still find a few around for a bit of a premium. Fun fact: This stuff burns with a blue flame, plenty of failed flame shots on the web to giggle at)

Responsive Yo-Yo as my weapon of choice. Call me Old Fashioned.
Classic Old Fashioned Recipe
2 oz Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey
Sugar
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 tsp Water
1 splash Cherry Juice
Garnish Orange twist (or zest) and a cocktail cherry
Ice
- Muddle: Add the sugar, bitters, and water to a rocks glass (or mixing glass). Muddle until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
- Combine: Add the Rittenhouse Rye to the glass.
- Chill: Add a large ice cube and stir well for 10-30 seconds until the drink is chilled and properly diluted and strain.
- Garnish: Express the oil from an orange peel over the glass, rub it around the rim, and drop it in.
- Enjoy

Not as fancy as the old fashioned, but i received a bottle of brandy from my wife for valentines day. Our first date was spent watching movies and drinking this same brandy a decade ago. I prefer the XO variant these days but the sentiment is there lol

Brought the Dune 2 with me on my cabin trip, also enjoying a sweet and spicy cider to match—mango habanero. Nothing like some sweet tropical heat to match a yo-yo that plays like it.
