Lol, I bet Keiran doesnt actually compete with “broken” yoyos. Though I did remember seeing a pro yoyoer (Evan I think) say that he likes to compete with a dinged yoyo because he can feel the spin and gauge how much time he has left on the spin. Though I just got done watching his video on the Edge Beyond, and apparently he now does that judgement with the view of a fade colorwat. I get it though, the pressure on stage may make you want to feel the yoyo so you can judge the state of your yoyo. But when im just playing casually, I like smooooth. I want to minimize vibe always.
