Wait… are you trying to say that by and large, the kind of people who might be drawn to yoyo would ALSO be drawn to comic books?
Next you’re going to say there are sci-fi and anime fans around here. Pshaw.

My girlfriend and I are both read comics regularly. We mostly read Marvel’s books, but there are plenty of others.
Fables is my favorite series of all time. We actually took a class with Danny Vozzo (colored all of “Jack of Fables” and most of the “Sandman” books) last semester! We’ve also been reading Chew, TWD, and The Manhattan Projects (best book of 2012 in my eyes).
I love Comic Books. I don’t think I physically own any (anymore), but I have over 200 GB of comic books on my computer. I’ve read every X-Men (450+). The “First Class” X-Men issues are so awesome, Stan Lee is a gangster.
Transmetropolitan, Sandman, Preacher… All Great Comics
You been reading Fairest? It looks intriguing…
Manhattan Projects is fantastic. Check out Nowhere Men also. It’s great
Scott Snyder is a genius. It was so good. Also working with Greg Capullo on Batman. Best Batman in a decade.
Sorry to bump an older thread, but I’d love to respond to this.
I’ve read all the issues of Fairest to date and actually love the series. The first arc seemed weakly supported to me, but issue 7 'till present has been fantastic.
It definitely requires a good bit of knowledge regarding the past 4 or 5 years of Fables history, but anyone looking to pick it up can get caught up via wikipedia within a few minutes. I highly recommend it!
Nowhere Man has been on my “to-read” list for a few months now, but I haven’t added it to my pull list and always forget to check the rack for backs. I’ll make sure to do so this Wednesday!
I guess this is a good place to put the Batman villain… Yo-Yo?
DC Database

Yo-Yo is an accomplice of the Joker. Yo-Yo was chased by Batman on the rooftops of Gotham City. After subduing her, Batman proceeded to question her as to the whereabouts of the Joker. When Yo-Yo revealed that she did not know the location of the...
Bringing this thread back to life.
My uncle by marriage father passed away this weekend, sal buscema who was one of the artists for Marvel on the Incredible Hulk series and spectacular spider man. The man was incredible and yet so very humble always making it seem like what he did was nothing special and he was just lucky to be there. He was at most every family Christmas dinner in my childhood and always gave me a crisp 10 dollar bill even as an adult lol. He will be missed.
If you’ve ever rode the Incredible Hulk roller coaster in Orlando studio adventure then you’ve seen one of the last bits of art he did in his career drawings that where rendered into the hulk statue and imagery around the ride.
The nostalgia in my heart from reading the first post of this thread and its talking about the “new 52”
My dad died on the day that batman 13 came out. The return of the joker.
when dad was suffering from his cancer all he wanted me to do was read him comic books, the new 52 series was great.
Sorry I couldn’t help but think about that. I love comics more than i can tell you.
Just recently started to jump back into comics after like 10 years off. First order of business is catching up with all things green lantern, not the most thrilled that theres 4 (3 + Keli? Does she count?) new human lanterns since last time I was caught up, but at least Simon and Jess are likeable ![]()

I’ve had this on a short list for so long. From what I hear it is fantastic. I just can’t find the time to catch up on everything I currently have…
