while we’re here, can anyone briefly recap why the peak 2 didn’t do that good?

The peak 2 was a decent yoyo it just wasn’t a peak so everyone was disappointed.
if it had been named something else it would have done better.

i think 1:1 new peak easy available will just drive the price of OG peak up even further, cannot replicate pioneer anodizing and rarity/time
i hope this peak can be USA made One Drop for the spirit of the peak

It’s also CLYW’s first yo-yo, one of the first premium metal yo-yos and there are a bunch of cool colourways/one off painted editions. So that all adds to the collector hype.

The vendetta colorways in the above documentary were crazy looking
On one hand I’m really hyped for this one, and on the other… Well, looks like it’s gonna be a bigger version of the original peak (probably a little bit too big for my comfort zone).

I could be wrong but the tones seem different, is that a onedrop SE on the p3ak prototype?

I don’t think so, the light/color around that area is a little interesting, but I think the nipple is too long to be a SE.
Looks blasted, which SEs aren’t.
So does the rest of the prototype.
A lot of folks have commented in the past that the [Heaven Sent](https://www.instagram.com/heavensentyoyo?igsh=eWJwNGVtbXoxcWRp) Creep was more of a Peak 2 than the Peak 2 and it had a bigger diameter
