Any guitar players

That is the Squire Deluxe Quilted Maple Top from the early 2000s. I replaced the pickups with Fender Lace red, blue, and gold.

Such pretty guitars. I really need to take a photo of my “Geisha” Stratocaster one of these days.

I have heard whispers of a 12 string electric guitar, never seen an example of someone playing it though…

Is that a joke that I’m just not getting?

There’s a few different 12 strings, a double neck or 1 neck, acoustic and electric along with a 12 string bass. Hotel California uses a 12 string in the intro, other songs like “I Stay Away” by Alice in chains does as well.

This is actually my main thing besides yoyo. I’ve been playing 5 or so years!

I do aloottt of different music( been doing metal and emo a lot lately) honestly helps me make tricks.

Oh yeah, I also play bass.

Edit: if anyone is curious about collection, I should be able to post it later.

Here’s my everyday jammer/noodler, it’s a 1990 Martin D-35. I’ve had quite a few giddys my whole life, been playing 25+ years, both acoustic and electric. I sold my last electric sometime ago, an es-175 as I no longer really play electric. Plus, I was always a fan of older tube amps and as anyone who’s also a fan can tell you, dem sucka’s are heavy!

As far as twelves go, I owned a Taylor 514 I think? Anyways it was an electric/accoustic and it had a great tone. You don’t really see too many 12 string guitars being played with an accompany band. Usually when you see a 12 string it’s being played by someone who is also singing a part with it. Very rarely do you see someone solo on them. The neck has to be wider to accommodate the extra string, so soloing is tricky. If you’d like to see someone literally melt faces off via 12 string skill, I suggest you go watch Stevie Ray Vaughan play “testify” as well as “rude mood”. He does them both on a twelve and it makes me want to sell my guitars and go into real estate :joy:

I do a lot of finger picking, and older stuff. Richard Thompson, louden wainwright, Townes van zant, stuff like that. Honestly, now that I think about it, haven’t played much in a week or so…

Curious? I encourage seeing collections. I love seeing what people are working with.

I went headless a few months ago. I still have my SG and my Tele, but I pick up the QX52 way more than those now. I’m converted.

That might be the sickest green I’ve seen in a guitar. Love it.

once I remeber get time Ill take a photo.

I play, build, and collect. I used to have my own guitar boutique where I made custom t-style guitars.

Here’s a small selection of my collection…

(I also collect 80’s freestyle BMX bikes, and mechanical pencils)
