Today’s photo: montage of purple Ricochet #90 being sparked up. Taken on my camera phone. Had some better photos earlier on my friend’s camera but I’m still waiting for her to send them over. In the meantime:

That looks killer Yuki!!! hehe Love that

That tilted on one rim sparked shot looks killer! Really like that one for some reason.

This is what a bit of metal polish on a cloth did for the 1937v2.

That thing is blindingly shiny! Love those really busy photos with a lot of stuff in it where the subject still stands out. Excellent stuff =)

Thanks! It polished up better than I thought it would! Had to get out of the light box too. It gets sterile feeling for me after a lot of time shooting in one. Of course to get the reflection I was looking for, I had to go back to it!

Sorting my sport rack I realized I never took pic’s of them and those $10 dollar pieces of aluminum have kept my life safe thousands of times over and they still look neat, even beat up. Had to make a pic, raw yoyo, anodized carabiner’s!

Of course to me clipping a draw is a treat when your pumped out 20+ foot above your last one! :o It forms a bond similar to climber and belayer. So I was lovin this style of anodized aluminum years before I even knew about yoyo’s so I’m surprised I haven’t put the two together yet? Still funny to me how I can trust my life over and over for years to a $10 carabiner but pay hundreds for the same aluminum to spin on a string. “If it wasn’t for my horse, I wouldn’t have spent that year in college.” -L.B.

Here’s some of the reflection’s that I was trying for earlier.

Totally off topic, but here’s a couple vids on carabiner’s. Might be interesting.

Oh man, that shot with the cards is so awesome. I had to do a double take to see that it was a reflection. I was thinking, man thats the coolest ano ever! lol

Who’s gonna double post… me… :stuck_out_tongue: It’s a throwing & Sake night along with an impromptu photo shoot… yeah baaaby!

Pearl Sake by MomoKawa in Oregon trained by a Japanese master. Great with spicy Thai Curry or chocolate!

^^^ That looks yummy I still have to try some of that!!! I remember from your recomondation!! I love a good Sake!!!

It was tasty! As soon as I saw the sake box/set, I thought, I bet the Sakura will fit in there and look neat in a photo! Knocked the dust off it and it started drinking/shooting/throwing and let the night unfold!
The Diamond is my fav to go with sushi and such. The Pearl is different as it’s cloudy and creamy instead of clear and crisp. Goes great with spicy Thai curry imho (says so on the bottle too). I love the Thai green or red curries!

This is an all time fav for spring/summer Thai! So awesome on top of the fresh, crunchy, and cool cabbage! One great dish imho from ‘Keo’s Thai Cuisine [revised]’. Note the top comment on what they might have added in the actual restaurant compared to what’s in the book.

Here’s a pic from the book:

Looks GREAT and easy to make as well!!! I LOVE Thai food!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice throws guys… I’m still in the light box, but things are warming up, so I’ll be outside soon taking some photos in my yard. My most recent photo of my Yoyofactory Big & Small pack:

Great picture! I was going to order one today because they were in stock yesterday, but they were out of stock this morning

Wow! You got the background solid white! Not gray like mine.

Great shots all! I like the splash colorways on the Chief and Cascade too.

I’m going to take a break from photos for the next few days. I was manipulating that last photo on my computer and it felt like something snapped in my right eye. It was a sharp pain. Then, there was some discomfort in my right eye for a few days, so I went to the optometrist. He said there was nothing wrong with my eye ::slight_smile: It was likely just dry (from me staring at the screen and not blinking enough). Also, he said every fifteen minutes I should be looking away from the screen, off into the distance, for at least ten seconds. It was a combination of looking at the computer too long, and too focused. I wasn’t logged in on the forum as much yesterday, to give my eyes a break. Figured I’d pass that along. So, lesson learned…look away, and blink a lot  I just got some over the counter eye drops. I’ll be working with photos again in a few days.

Dang… I gotta do that “look away from the monitor” thing. I don’t do it often enough. Thanks for the warning; sorry it came at the expense of some worry and discomfort!
