I’ve successfully used lighter fluid for all my bearing cleanings. If you’re using thick brain lube, you may need to keep it in the solvent longer. Again, make sure that you shake it well while it’s soaking and spin it until it is completely dry when you take it out. As others suggested, make the investment for YYJ Thin Lube. It’s definitely worth it and one bottle while last you a LONG time
