Is it worth putting a large bearing into on?
Not unless you’re prepared to do major surgery. A large (“C”) bearing will not fit the bearing seat.
I know you need to do a lot but I’m dying to try one.

Edit: Pics of my first paint job. Got impatient and didn’t fully wait for the paint to dry, but then again it’s going to be spinning most the time. Not a huge deal for me and now I know for next time.

can you put the metal innards of a rally in a fhz?
It wouldn’t be hard to machine the face of a FHZ to fit the Rally SPR. The problem is with going that route is that the Rally SPR only gives you half of the bearing seat. The inner post of the bearing seat is part of the threaded inserts. Getting those threaded inserts to work in a FHZ would be way more effort than it’s worth especially when the FHZ already has a perfectly functioning axle system and machining proper a SPR isn’t hard.
