The Aerodynex Ti is the ultimate evolution of Mowl’s Aerodynex series, crafted from full titanium to deliver an exhilarating play experience. With a wide-bodied design, this yo-yo creates a sensation of soaring through the air while maintaining unwavering stability, perfectly complementing the high-speed, aggressive style of team member Hayato Itani.

Designed for Peak Performance After two years of development and rigorous testing, the Aerodynex Ti was shaped by six different prototypes—experimenting with mono-metal, bi-metal, and titanium variations—to find the ideal balance of power, control, and maneuverability for high-level competitive play.

The Name & The Legacy The name “Aerodynex” is a fusion of “Aero” and “Dynamics,” reflecting Hayato’s signature horizontal mastery and unpredictable trick flow. Built to meet the demands of the modern contest scene, this yo-yo is a true extension of the player’s intent—whether executing tight technical sequences or pushing the limits of freestyle creativity.

Next-Level Aesthetics & Engineering One standout feature of the Aerodynex Ti is its innovative two-color laser engraving on the inner rim—a cutting-edge visual technique that gives this titanium masterpiece an unmistakable look. With a fine-tuned weight distribution and premium materials, the Aerodynex Ti offers an unrivaled combination of speed, power, and finesse, making it a must-have for serious competitors and collectors alike.

When the idea of a titanium battle-ready yo-yo first emerged, Mowl set out to craft a model that could match Hayato Itani’s high-speed, aggressive style on the world stage. But for Hayato, a signature yo-yo meant more than just personal preference—it needed to be accessible to players everywhere. His vision? A competition-level design that anyone could enjoy.

A Dual Approach to Perfection With the Aerodynex Ti in development for peak contest performance, Mowl also pursued a monometal version to bring Hayato’s signature feel to a wider audience. The first monometal prototype exceeded expectations, offering exceptional balance, power, and control while maintaining the core contest-ready qualities of its titanium counterpart. Further refinements led to a second prototype with a narrower width aimed at increasing durability and spin power. However, after testing, the original design proved to be the best all-around performer—precisely tuned for both high-level play and everyday use.

The Story Behind the Design The artwork, created by KALON DESIGN STUDIO, reflects Hayato’s journey and dedication to his craft. A long-time user of the Mowl Nocturnal, Hayato pointed out, “I think Nocturnal means night, but I’m actually a morning person…”—a comment that sparked the sun-inspired theme of the Aerodynex. The intricate logo design mirrors solar prominences, capturing Hayato’s powerful and dynamic playstyle. A small moon shape subtly nods to the Nocturnal, honoring his past while forging a bold new identity. With its axle protrusion, the Aerodynex presented a unique design challenge, but after countless refinements, the final result is a striking aesthetic that embodies Hayato’s energy and competitive spirit.

Whether you’re stepping onto the contest stage or perfecting your craft, the Mowl Aerodynex delivers an unparalleled experience. Precision. Performance. Power. It’s time to elevate your game!

Yikes, $700? Does anyone know why this yo-yo is so expensive?

Probably for these reasons:

  • Limited batch available
  • Sourced and manufactured in Japan
  • Grade 5 titanium
  • Receives a sales or monetary cut for the signature user (Hayato).

Any of these reasons could explain the pricing, but I could be wrong. For that price I would try to contact Mowl or Eiji for more information.

Yes…. You are not seeing things.

Yoyogeezer asked the Same exact question that I would have asked, if he didn’t beat me to it🤓

What seriously puzzles me personally about this price point is that it makes me think of other yo-yos and then I’ll tell you what I mean.

Luftverk, Released several titanium mono metals over the last several years. Each time Jeffrey decided to crank up the power, he started with the same Yo-yos But change them over to bimetal designs.

Damien Puckett did the same thing… From mono to bi- metal to produce higher performance.

Turning point… Kentaro Produced at least a few different versions of the Mustang… Each one, a mono, metal titanium. When he decided to crank it up a bit, He produced the Mustang U, A titanium yo-yo with stainless steel rims Resulting in an even more amazing yo-yo…

The W1Ld produced the mono-,metal Tilderness> an Amazing yo-yo. Then they outdid themselves by designing the Bi-metal based off the almost exact shape of the Tilderness and call it the W1Ldest. And it is Outstanding.

In the description, Mowl says they tried different designs in mono Ti, bi-metal models and different Ti variations in an effort to come up with the best performing model?

But unlike every other major Titanium Makers upgrades, they decided that the mono-metal design plays even better than the bi-metal proto.

Realize I’m only guessing on this. It may just perform better than a Ti -bi version?

Just seems pretty darn odd to me a mono Ti would command that kinda money?

Hey, what do I know?

But other than a sponsored player, I certainly can’t see a guy going up on stage with a small tray of 3 or 4 of the $700 dollar yo-yos😂.

No I’m not trying to discourage sales… I don’t mind speaking up on this, because I am confident the yo-yo will sell out. I would say it’s outside most people’s comfort zone. But it probably does play pretty darn good and some people will want to add one to their collection of Titanium yo-yos.

The quality of the yoyo is not in question, here. Just the Ti mono-metal price point?

But…… I ‘do remember’ years ago, when I bounced high bucks for the mono-metal Yoyorecreation Dazzler, so I’m obviously not the sharpest axe in the shed, lol…

And life continues unabated…

If this is machined in Japan then I completely understand the price. Japanese machining is both top-notch as well as expensive.

That engraving is awesome

I just wish the aluminium had the same diameter as the titanium (56a vs 55ti)

I’d give up a little spin power for the chopsticks benefit 6 days out of 7

guess ill need to see if anyone will give me 600 quid for my birthday  (not likely)

I think it is because we use a very difficult laser engraving technique. I think the two-color laser engraving is very cool, but honestly, if it costs so much for the engraving, I wish they would have produced the product without the logo.
