how do I add thin lube to my 888x.
You put a couple drops in the bearing.

I added the thin lube to my DM first to see if it worked and it made it a lot quieter but not unresponsive.
You can add too much thin lube. I would recommend putting a drop on a needle and touch a ball in the bearing. This should be enough thin lube for it.

are you talking about the c-clips or the shields? if you got the c-clips off and the shields are still on just tap the bearing on your hand.
i dont think i have c clips cuz i dont see them.
Yes you do. Otherwise the shields would just fall out.
I would recommend just putting a drop on the side. Works just fine and you don’t have to deshield at all.
Some bearings don’t have c-clips. The ones I know of are SPYY bearings and Raider bearings. Those you have to pry the shields off. As far as I know the 888x comes with a SPEC bearing which has c-clips. They are just tricky to see.
Don’t those just have the round ones that you can’t take off?
