every time i have to deal with fedex it goes just like this and then they fleece me for my weight in gold on top of it - audacious nightmare company

I got an $100 CAD UPS bill down to $20 by clearing a package myself at customs. $109 usd shoes mind you. Itās definitely worth the extra effort to not pay them.

Success! I actually called our long time FedEx driver who no longer is on our route (he delivered to us back in 2009 when we were first starting and we became good friends over the years!) He was able to touch base and found out what was going on and called me this morning to confirm he worked it out. It arrived at the end of the day today! We are packing up all the yo-yos - a few who ordered expedited made it out FedEx since they still had a pickup - rest are being packed up as we speak! What a journey!

Is absolutely absurd to me that it took multiple phone calls to get nothing done but a FedEx employee to figure it out. Lately the shipping companies have been a joke. I have shipped three things through USPS and all three things were delayed between 1 and 2 weeks. It almost makes me not want to buy on the buy so trade forums or send anything because you never know what kind of issues youāre going to deal with
A pastel type green and pink halfswap to represent spring (season of flowers) would be soooo nice

My Blumi arrived today! Fit and finish are perfect and the colors look even better in person. Sleeps like a dream, zips around the string nice and smooth, and binds are effortless. It will sit alongside many past and present freehands, flying squirrels, a roadrunner, and an 08 888 as the modern centerpiece. Very excited to have gotten one. Going to see a ton of play!

my blumi arrived today and it is much nicer than the pictures make it look to be. It is more gold than yellow. I was a little concerned at first because the brightish yellow did not look so good but I can 100% say that itās really not yellow. Itās more like a deeper color gold and it goes very well with the blue.
But unfortunately I may not be keeping it. I did put a different string on it just so I didnāt ruin the white one that it came with just to get a couple of throws. See how it is and itās fantastic. It is butter smooth. Thereās not a single bit of vibe whatsoever. And it fits fantastic in your hand. But Iām not having fun in the yoyo world and I found a new passion spin tops and Iām having a blast. So this is probably going to be one that Iām going to sell.
Itās really hard to get a picture of the yellow because itās not a bright yellow. Itās kind of like a matte goldish color and itās a lot duller than my pictures come out to be

Mine came yesterday. Looks better in real life than the pictures. Love the way it plays. And on top of that my wife says it looks great. She loves the look and the color combo. Thatās the first time sheās ever said anything about one of my yoyos other than, āWhat, another yoyo?ā

Itās difficult to catch the sparkle in photos. 
I have two left, but these are pending since Iām currently on vacation. 
If one or two fall through, Iāll post a note to this thread.
Iāll commission another run in the coming weeks (set to release in winter). Really liking the pink/green idea.

I think part of the beauty of working with a single colour pallete is that someone could mix and match the halves from any colourway with another and have something that looks good, so Iād like to see the same finish for each run to keep that as a possibility, even if few people are ever going to do that.
