The color really is something to see in person, it subtly changes in different lights, as exaggerated by my camera.
First impressions:
The Blumi feels incredible to hold, this finish is lovely and a bit less aggressive as the candyblast I remember from my old Noctu. It is light in the hand and really solid and stable on the string. It plays with the power of a 65-66 gram throw, and the nimbleness of a 63 gram throw. I love it.

There is an old saying that thereās no second chance to make a good first impression.
If you live long enough, you will run into several occasions where that is somewhat incorrect
When I got my Blumi the other day, I took the box with me to work because I didnāt even have a chance to open it before I left. That particular day once I got to work I was so busy. I was just glance at the box once in a while, continue doing the tasks at hand. That night when I got home from work, I sat the little box down on the dining room table and got busy doing little home tasks as needed.
About three in the morning, I got this bright idea and decided to actually open the box and take the yo-yo out of the little soft sack. I used string that came with the yo-yo. A white stringā¦ Kind of thinā¦ Really long and slick feeling and throw down obviously, the two geniuses that come up with their amazing designs, no doubt put on their thinking caps before they decide what is the best string to include with with their latest machine.
From the first throw, as is usually the case with their products, I really loved the Blumi. No doubt I noticed a few things that you guys have already mentioned. Feels great in the hand. Has a nice lick finish. It plays with the power instability of a heavier yo-yo even though and a few grams less than heavier yo-yo, it seems to move with a quickness. Ray and Dominic thoroughly test and test again in over test and then make a few final tests before they ever decide to release their latest invention. And then before they put them in the mail, they test them again.
So my experience, basically falls in line with most or all of the others that got the same yo-yo.
After about 10 minutes or so, I noticed that to me personally the string just felt a little too thin and a little too slick. I would consider it to be a competition type string that would be good for whips, lacerations, and fast tech combos.
But since Iām not a competitor, I want to back off on the speed a little and soften things up to suit my particular style of medium flow combos. So I had this bright idea not unlike most other people that have bright ideasā¦ And change the string just for the adventure of finding out if I get land on something else that might even be better for me?
So I broke out a zip line Skyline III. I always have a mini Ziploc three pack of the skylines with me in my right front pocket wherever I go and wherever I am.
So the white included string works very well with a yo-yo. It just didnāt work very well with me. The zip line string, to me brought out even more character in the yo-yo and gave me the impression that the yo-yo had been customized just for me, lol.
So my impression just got better, even though it had already started off well enough.
These guys just keep out doing themselves, and we all win as a result of their efforts.
I think one of the best compliments that I can give a yo-yo is that when I like it so much instead of just focusing on why I like it I focus some energy on what I might not like about it? I actually make an exerted effort to find out something about the yo-yo that just doesnāt seem right? Something they couldāve done better maybe a little wider. Maybe a little heavier or a little lighter. Or the gap could be a little different. Or the finish could be a little more or less blasting? Or the colors couldāve been better?
When you go down that road and come up emptyā¦ Meaning that, you canāt find a single thing you donāt like about the yo-yo, then the only thing you have left is to play the one that you have and look forward to the next batch that comes out in a different color way.
A superb offering from Germany. Not much of a surprise actually. I think these two guys have nothing better to do that continually let us know that their quality never stops.

Reflecting on this, Iād say you did a great job on this and produced a great yoyo at the same time. Given inflation over the years and maintaining that price point is impressive. Looking back over the years at previous purchases I paid in the $70-$90 range for numerous Difeyos, HSPIN, Anti-Yo, SPYY and a few other yoyos. As I said, impressive. (And this in no way implies that any of the people that produced these fine yoyos were ripping people off.)

Are you doing the same colors or is this new run going to be different. The blumi was nice but I personally just did not like the yellow

See I like the brightline because itās not so bright with the pink green is my favorite color but Iām more of. I like the darkerish green.
