:-X1. When I do a trapeze I miss…(sometimes) And when
I get really close to the yoyo I hit it and
it dies.(1A wise)
2.when I do offstring forward pass I cant
catch it it just lands on the string then bounces off.
3. Recommended looping begginer yoyos?
4. When I do a stop and go all it does on its way
down is it spins and then tangles on the string.
5.and I still haven’t found which type I like best
And sorry if something is really wrong my iPod screws words up
#1 what do you mean you hit it? Land it? Or hit it with your hand? If you land it and it dies your yoyo is probably too responsive, or the string gap it to small.
#2 it probably bouncing off because you holding the string to tight. When it hits the string bring your hands together to like cushion the catch, I guess if that makes sense.
1, what yoyo are you using. if you were using a looping yoyo, or a fixed axle, or even some beginner 1a yoyos, they will die when you land a trapeze. also, how long does it sleep normally? it could be that your sleeper is fairly week. also it never hurts to straighten out your breakaways. do this by just throwing normal breakaways over and over again, starting about 2 feet from a wall. after every time, take a step closer. then start doing this with trapezes when you get more accurate.
2, do what badd2bone85 said. give it a little slack when you catch it, or else it will tilt.
3, any looper works.
4, does it die when you pull it? if it does, that would cause it to spin off axis. either that or try to improve your string tension before doing this trick.
5, yoyo or style? if it is a yoyo, then don’t sweat it. you will get more and see what you like. if it is a style, just stick to 1a, because it improves all other types.
I’m using a Duncan metal drifter its the best
I can get without ordering online I had it sleep
for 37 seconds. I hit it with my hand/finger when
doing a trapeze. #5 wasn’t a question just a statement
and wow my first post thread thing this site’s fast and sounds
reasonable
If you hitting your finger on a trapeze your catching it too close to your hand practice swinging it farther around your finger and catch it in the middle of your two hands, it’s harder but it gets easier with practice.
yeah dont get bent out of shape, i learned to do a trapeze on a duncan mosquito from walmart. it was hard but with patience and practice i got it down. try and land it close to your non throw hand but not to the point where they make contact with each other. just keep up the practice
Im using a metal drifter too. its a great yoyo but i was expecting it to respond, The drifter dosen’t really respond and i figure i could do the Bind and work it out that way but i just cant get the bind, its just not happening. And as for the trapeze i just can get it to land on the string.
Now I finally landed my OS on the string
and it didn’t bounce off now when I bind it
it doesn’t return or it falls on to the ground
I’ll try striaghtening my break a ways thx
