That looked great bro!! I’ve gotta say…the untethered yo-yo feels so incredibly sketchy to me!! It looks so cool and I know that if I start hitting any trick at all it’s gonna feel great, but I can feel myself being stiff and hesitant, and I know it won’t flow like that. This barrier might take a minute to overcome but it feels more attainable for me than stall type play. I just can’t get the feel for that. Every time I hit them it’s pure odds. I can never repeat it. Anyways…I’ve always liked the look of this style for watching. It’s very flashy. Looking awesome bro. Keep it coming.

Elixirs seem especially nice with 5a. I’m currently using an Ink with my setup, but I like a little bit of a slippy string.
I’m a complete 5A novice, but I’m excited to learn some new stuff. Had a funny moment here though … I play mostly casual 0A style, so when I saw one of the ladder tricks was a basic stall, I thought “Oh, I got this.”
And then I watched the video. Oh. “I do not think that word means what I think it means.” 
So looking at that 5A stall, with the CW wrapping around and around … this is gonna be an unresponsive game, yeah?
Some can be responsive. 5A like most styles started responsive but yeah it’s gonna be more unresponsive focused this time around.

I am actually looking at the trick from a 0A stand point also. Trapeeze Stall, 5A Element, Regen out.

But Thank you! I’ve only been doing 5A for less than a year, but something finally clicked and I knew it was my favorite, so I’m just working it. But I mean these posts and videos and this contest isn’t about perfection and that’s why I like it!
Were running the mile high yoyo jamboree which is an unjudged performance event, you perform anf your name gets put in a hat for drawings! It’s the better way of doing things!

I got an idea for the creative entry also but I’m not sure if I’ll get it done for this week and wanna drop these off before I forget. Happy 5a May y’all!
Pretty sure the Yoyo is gonna spin out or start unwinding when you unmount it from the trapeze if it’s dead like with a trapeze stall. I’d love to see it if you got it to work though. I do think the basic stall like Miguel teaches is doable responsive, but like I’m pretty sure the yo-yos going to have to stay spinning.
All I’m hearing here is…I’ve been hired!!! That means somebody is supposed to be paying me!!
I’m not sure what the boomers for of payment is. Peanuts? Rupees? Standing on queue at the dmv? Denture cream? But you’ll have to take it up with them!
