Joker’s Tommy Gun CW. I wanted this to work so bad but it was just too light and the string kept getting caught on the edges. Still had to snap a pic tho lol

Lol It was supposed to be a reply to mr Noot’s video bc he’s wearing the shirt and I like that band also and it fits w the sick trick they performed. I agree it’s unclear without the little reply icon that only happens when you aren’t directly under someone

I should’ve realized that, because his shirt was the first thing that caught my eye

I need to get better at chopsticks and I saw this sakatuca repeater and decided to learn the chopsticks element (learning that smooth slide is going to take a long time). It took me like 15 mins to get to this point and just that little amount of time helped me with my NTH chopsticks so much. I realized I was messing up the position of the string on the thumb and was focusing way too much on the position of the string on the index. This repeater made that so so clear and that’s why I need to go back and learn all of these repeaters.

Is the 5a? Not really! Hah! I was using a yoyo w the cw in my hand. Just holding the cw and catching the yoyo with a cw in hand is helpful to me. I’m still trying to get my 5a throw as smooth as my 1a throw so every throw counts. Proportions also matter a ton for this element and learning about good proportions in different mounts and elements has been helpful to my 5a game.

Love this. I could watch you throw 5a all day. @JeiCheetah and @Beverchakus are hands down my 2 most favorite 5a players. And have been for years. Glad to see @Beverchakus back making videos again and hope to see more in the future. Can’t leave out @jakebullock either. Been watching his 5a for 15+ years as well. And he made the dunk rebound which is hands down my most favorite yoyo fo 5a.

Goofing with yoyo-side rebounds!!! I don’t know if this is a real thing yet or not, but it sure can lead to some cool tricks! Planned this out until the opposite trapeze then threw in a fun beesting variation I’ve also been working on. Also been grinding fundamentals but this is me being suuuuper silly lol

Mainly throwing the Roadrunner for now. I figured sticking to just one 5A yoyo might help me get a better feel for it. So far, so good.

My goal was to learn Bee Sting and Butterfly by the end of the month… Anyone got some Butterly tips? I can’t seem to wrap my head around it.

Throwing the Roadrunner as well! Butterfly gets me too, it usually ends in very loud noises after a few swings lol

Just pinwheel and if your Yoyo is at 10 o’clock throw the counterweight in the opposite direction. If you throw the counterweight always throw it outward to keep tension in the string.

Here a slomo, maybe it helps

If you haven’t already watched this video. Slightly offset string segment length and having the cw be on a slightly angled plane are the two biggest tips imo.

I landed reverse bee sting today! Still very sloppy but I understand the feel now so maybe I can get the regular bee sting soon too.

that frogs expression was how I felt landing it the first time lol

Also I managed to order some soft resin cws from Fairy Crystal Lab today! @mable posted about them in another thread and they sound amazing so I just kept an eye on their shop. Once those come I’m gonna do some 5a on a metal yoyo! The loudness of plastic on metal was too much for me so I’m only using my plastic luftverks for 5a till the soft ones come in.

Welp, here it is

After watching the tutorials above, I realized I wasn’t pinching the string with my NTH. I’ll keep working on the dismount

Still working basics. Here’s my progress on Bee String and Basic Stall. I couldn’t get a Red Windmill or Butterfly to cooperate on camera today.

Throw is a Shooting Star with Monster Ball counterweight.
