I think these yoyos are made out of tin. They have the rim ROLLED(so don’t IRG it unless you want to expose meat and bone). The bearing blows, but it appears to be a size C. The response is a plastic starburst insert that also acts as the bearing seat. I am going to definitely clean the bearing for sure.
The weight is like 45.11 grams. I measured full specs. It’s full sized, a touch narrow and a 3.12mm gap.
I got 4 last night. I opened 2 and photographed them. I was gonna give 2 to my kid but I don’t feel that he’ll enjoy them. Let him play with his Shutter, G-Funk, DM2 and other stuff.
I’d say they are a stamped material of some sort. Hench the ridges in the fold.
You grind in the igr your flesh will pay.
From what I’ve seen simply sand off the starburst pattern on the response clean the bearing and add a friction sticker of some sort and POW! Right up there with the best> :
I have no doubt that if you spent 300 dollars worth of time and trouble, that you could make that 1 dollar yoyo look and play like a good 10 dollar yoyo.
And recognize that I have been Modding yoyos nonstop since 1998, so I am pretty sure about that, lol.
Yeah yoyodoc, you basically shooting out negative info saying that we cant enjoy/mod this cheap toy.
So stop your negative post and post them elsewhere…
O wait, your going to reply to this with I AM A GOOD MODDER, I KNOW YOU CANT MOD TIN, You cant make it play good i know this stuff, i have been in the community longer BLAH BLAH BLAH
I’d like to try to fill in the space under that nasty sharp rim with something to make it more solid/safe. Not sure what would be a good kind of material, though.
