what bearing to upgrade 2?

ok i have a DM and have been looking at different bearings to uprgrade to. ive heard alot about the konkaves and such but just not sure. basically what would be the best bearing to upgrade to. thank u

The Best (opinion) bearing you could upgrade to would be:

.250 x .500 x .187 inch Ceramic KonKave Bearing (click)
(This site doesn’t sell it or I would have linked it from here)

not really,I would prefer a well broken in 10ball over a ceramic kk.ita all about preference

10 ball quiet and smooth

A nice bearing is a standad KK, but before you go buying new bearing thinking it will help you yoyo abit better on longer, its not totally true.

While its true that doing sleepers, you might notice a difference, play wise, a different kind of bearing wont make too much difference.

Cause when you are doing many tricks, there is much friction on the yoyo due to string hits, binds, and many other trick factors that all slow a yoyo down, this is why you cant do tricks as long as your longest sleeper

A bearing wont have much of a significant impact on your tricks.

Now A KK will help doing flop tricks but other than that, not too much.

But KKs are nice, but I just like throwing my stock bearings personally.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

I agree, KonKave’s are good

But I would take a broken in 10ball over it in a heartbeat.

Also, YoYoeXpert does sell KK’s here. This is the link: http://yoyoexpert.com/product/dif-e-yo/konkave-bearing/

He was saying that YYE doesn’t sell ceramic KKs.

Well then I have to learn to read then!

Hah, you got

Wait…

thanx alot guys i apriciate the help. hmm so a 10ball or kk…harddecison but we will see

I think it depends on what you want. Normal bearing, but keeping the string centered (KK), or extra spin time (10-ball)?

Well what are you willing to spend? If you have around $37.70 bucks you can get a CKK. The Ceramic konkaved bearing basically spins for a much longer time and is the smoothest due to the ceramic balls in it. If you have around $20.85 you can get a regular konkaved bearing. It spins for a good wile and keeps the string off the walls of the yo-yo just like the CKK. For the 10 ball I couldn’t find at yoyonation. But I believe it was $14.26. 10 ball has of course 10 balls in it so it spins for a much longer time. For around $19.16 you can get a born crucial grooved bearing. It has a grove in it so the string wont move around. For around $15.89 you can buy a YYF Dorothy bearing. A Dorothy bearing just spins for a good wile. And last is the Yoyojam bearing. For only $10.40 you can buy a stock yoyojam large bearing. And there are the most popular bearings used. Well later.

P.S The prices on the bearings a give you where the market value +9¢ tax+$5.00 shipping and handling. Depending on where you live and where you buy from the prices my differ.hears where to get them.

Dorothy’s are out of stock, and I believe are no longer made. YYF’s have replaced Dorothy’s with SPEC’s, available here: http://yoyoexpert.com/product/yoyofactory/bearings/index.php
