calling experienced talent show yoyoists!

I am thinking about yoyoing in my school talent show in may. Do you need to stun them or do a matrix and spirit bomb and not that impressive yoyo tricks? ??? ??? ;D

I wanna do it too but there is competition at my school, I think I am the best. Go for crowd pleasers like mach 5, boing boing, zipper, they dont have to be hard just cool looking

Eye-Catching > Technicality

what sucks is if I do Buddah’s revenge or spirit bomb they think I suck.

why? those are hard tricks to learn. well kinda.

Do some beginner tricks: walk the dog, rock the cradle, picture tricks (say what it is if you can), UFO maybe. Then get some harder but flashy tricks: eli hops, boingy boing, revolutions, mach 5 (but move around with it and be standing sideways and like rotate and walk forward then stop and reverse it or something), suicides. Also, if you’re up there more than a few minutes, do another style. It baffles most people that somebody could be that good, then yoyo with 2 yoyos, or yoyo without something attached.

well they will say…" my cousin is better than you because he can do the thing where it just stays on the ground and rolls away.

I went into a talent show and blew them away with things like split the atom and the matrix. I don’t think it matters much just do tricks you like and are fimular with. ;D

Do some whips and stuff.

ok, I do this for school demonstrations and stuff. Start with basic familiar tricks, to get them in their comfort zone. Big open trics help too. But towards the end progressively get more difficult, so it is like the natural evolution of yo yo play

Guess what? LAZER.

(It’s the new yoyo trick rave) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Maybe I should join that Talent Show too…
