Yep! My lathe has a self centering 3 jaw chuck that works pretty well. I’ll have to take more pics of the overall process.

Yea, I source them from One Drop for $10 a pair. They’re the best axle system imo for the job.

ah. i see them around a lot and was wondering how people are getting them.

i assume you contact one drop directly?

Yea I usually just shoot them a message on Facebook asking for so and so many pairs and then 5 mins later I get the invoice to my email lol. Quick and efficient. I appreciate that they make them available for us modders.

I wonder if freshly dirty stem kits would be harder to use for this kind of project

Yea I’m not sure, I’d like to give them a try and see. My one criticism for the One Drop spacers is that they use thicker pads and not standardized pads. If they used thinner pads then the spacer itself could be thinner, letting me shave off a tad more center weight from the yo-yos.
