On it
After @pyrotechnic mods them they are. Otherwise if you sleeve the “axle” with a slim marker cap it actually plays okay as a fixie
What is a slim marker cap?
I’m guessing like the cap to a thin sharpie or crayola washable, but trimmed to make an axle sleeve.
I found this during a walk today. I must say I was less disappointed than usual to find litter.
If only I had seen who did it, I could berate them and then talk to them about yoyos.
Ray: '“Hey as*hole! why throw litter when you could be throwing your sweet new yoyo!
”
Let alone SUPER ACTION yo-yos!!!
If anyone is along I90 in NY, the GreenApple seems to be stocking Duncan’s. Butterfly, Imperials and XT. A little more expensive at 6.99, XT 12.99 but when you need one, you need one. ![]()
One of my first yoyos (unfortunately not proper, unable to sleep, string glued to axle, etc) came from a cereal aisle at the grocery store. At that time, I had never seen a yoyo sleep or know that it could sleep…so all I did with it was dribble til I got bored.
No way those have the string glued to the axle… they’re SUPER ACTION!! ![]()

With “dynamic spinning action”? They should sleep for seconds!
See… you get it!!
Rumor has it that the swirl graphic gives it super sonic spin times and rock solid stability ![]()
Better off alone
haha i saw those “Neato” wood yoyos in world market and couldn’t resist seeing what was under the hood. it was SO bad and the string is fixed to the axle. i forget but i think they pinched the string to the body when they seated the axle but yea no sleepy time with that one
