Yoyorecreation RAW: Responsiveness?

Hi there! I am in need of some help figuring out a few things about the new Yoyorecreation - RAW.

It has the same exact response setup as the Heist.
Yoyorecreation - RAW
Width - 4.24 mm / 0.17 in
Bearing Size - Size A (Small)
Response Type - Small Bearing Pad

Yoyofactory - Heist
Gap Width - 4.25 mm / 0.17 in
Bearing Size - Size A (5x10x4 mm)
Response Type - CBC Small Pad

So the Heist plays perfectly unresponsive, but the raw plays like a deep state with a lubed bearing: responsive, but not quite responsive enough. Heist bearing is centerttac and spins longer when i open the yoyo and spin it than does the raw bearing. The raw bearing is flat like one drop and slows spinning quickly. I wanted the raw to play like the heist!

Why does the raw act so responsive you think? The bearing? Anyone know where i can get a centertrac or concave A bearing? Anyone know any way to get this thing to play less responsive?

I wonder if the width measure for the Raw is not taking that little step into consideration. Are you able to measure this vs the Heist?

The bearing will certainly play into it as well. Can you swap them?

I got it playing perfectly responsive!

I had to 3d print these shims and then cut the OD to size and use one on only one side. They are a little too thick and the bearing wouldn’t center on top of one, but I could use one half to center the bearing and then screw on a half with a shim.

It plays great! Just like I wanted.
