Over under boing-e-boing and all the fancier protrusions. No idea how to get the rhythm right w the extra stuff.

I have been yoyoing for years.

I can do triple slacks. I can do behind the back horizontal.

I cannot do revolutions.

lol ig i got years to wait to learn revolutions- when first saw the tutorial i thought it was easy and realized it would turn harder than 4.0 hook i eventually hitted 4.0 hook but not revolutions
edit- by mistake I wrote 5.0 hook but it is 4.0 hook

5.0 hook before revolutions?? That’s crazy. For whatever reason I have no trouble with revolutions.

Seems I’m your total opposite. I can do a reg hidemoso hook, and a beef hook. 4 whatever reason have tons of trouble with anything 1.5 and beyond. Landed correctly maybe 3x in my life. Also quantum slack and sprite bomb

Weirdly, I can do most of the tricks being mentioned here. I did learn many of them ptetty early on though, so that’s probably why. If anyone needs tips, maybe I can help you out!

Years after learning them, I still cant land Ninja Vanish or Brent Stole consistently. If I hit a Brent Stole, it’s usually by accident.

Same, revolutions is easy for me personally but the only hooks I can do are 1.0, hidemasa, and beef. I can do overhand whips to 1.5 and kamikaze mount though. I’d like to at least land 2.0 hook one day though.

Whip to 1.5 is what I’m currently working on. Really wanna get it mastered. IMO it’s probably the sickest looking way to start a combo

Follow is one of my favorite tricks! Hard to learn and even harder to master but so satisfying.

I can do only 3-4 follows haha then I usually get tangled up.

Elaborate ur issue or post a video attempting all of them, we will be happy to help. About revolutions, I m pretty sure u r messing up the pinch timing that doesnt let the slack form correctly, watch some slow mos and pay attention to when they pinch.

I heard that if you pretended to be a ninja turtle as a kid and your turtle of choice was Michelangelo then revolutions are much easier to learn.

That would explain why it went quite well with me. And I can’t get my head wrapped around Quantum Slack.

Yuuki slack… i can do the first element just fine but once the yoyo hits the underside of the string i just get completely lost lmaooo

What actually helped me - go faster and think less (and do one more twist than you think you need). When I was trying to analyze it, I always got lost. I tried goomba mode and it clicked.

This is how I learn every trick. I just try to Ignore what is happening and just make it happen. I try to move my hands how they should move and then figure out what’s actually happening later. Started doing this w boing e boing and magic drop bc they’re so weird but then I realized like yo this approach works for like every trick.

Boing boing…
I learned magic drop and shockwave realy fast and also trying now kamikaze the whole trick and it isnt so hard. But boing boing is a different story, already two month practicing and never manage to hit big boings
