For the Layman please…
How will a United States patent protect a US based yoyo distribution company from CHINA knock offs?
Seems to me that YYF patents are futile in China (hub stacks for example.)
Why would YYF even bother with a patent and then chose to manufacture string in China?
Is YYF going to start a string factory in Arizona? If so, I would applaud that effort.
We got a standard and a premium box. We got a Reality, Bolt, Helvetica, Code 2.0, KO, strings, stickers, pins and some little stuffs. Not a bad haul!
The KO is pretty neat. It feels really sticky, like that rubberized crap thats all over devices that eventually leach plasticizer. But it spins so cool. Im using the Reality and enjoying that. We’ll make it to the other yos eventually.
Update: I wiped off the yoyo and gave it a cleaning and it’s not gross anymore. Whatever protective film that was on there for shipping made it, especially the brass all sticky and gross. Its a really cool yoyo. Never played with a bimetal before.
