Personally, I think it would loose some of its Luster and Playability if it was heavier. The weight to response ratio is perfect in this configuration.
It has enough intertia that that it still feels powerful at 48g.
Looking forward to trying one. In the long run I’ve not stuck with any of the light 0A or any responsive yoyos. Just old and stuck in my ways I guess I generally end up just playing my fixies when I want that lighter play.
But just to say it again, that yoyo looks great, and I look forward to eventually grabbing one
And that’s probably what I’ve missed in a lot of the lightweight yoyos, that feel that there’s some “power” to it, or some substance to it.
I feels more substantial than the RBC.
I was sold the first time I saw the proto earlier this year. Can’t wait for its release
Wow I guess I’ve been out of the YYE forum loop for a while now. Very cool coming back on and seeing this thread. Wish I was frequenting the forum more when it started. I’m here now though!
We are always open for new members
What does a membership entail and require?
Definitely excited!
Only a desire to be a member. And a simple request to become one.
Well in that case I would like to submit my formal request to join the ranks of the Yoyo Boomers Club.
It also requires a blood oath.
Due to Covid proof of blood oath is no longer required just attestation it’s been done. No one wants bloody paperwork shipped in the mail ya know.
Bloody bleeding paperwork!! Don’t nobody want no bloody bleeding paperwork!!
How’s a man supposed to build their biohazard sticker collection though?
Become Diabetic like myself… Dont do that.
You talked me out of it
If there was a signature trick of the Yoyo Boomers Club, what would it be?
I feel like the all time most known classics are Rock the Baby and Walk the Dog. Even people that aren’t into the hobby know it instinctively.
