And try to find a video with a long drawn out scream to play on it…:smiley::rofl::rofl:

I need to make a second cap that matches the weight before I throw it so it doesn’t go wild :joy: right now it’s a little lopsided but makes a fun desk gadget. I’ll try to make a matching cap for the reverse!

All you need is matching weight. Doesn’t necessarily need to be a functional screen like the one side… just weigh/ distribution similar. My apologies… you said that.

Yep that’s the plan! I didn’t actually buy two screens, speakers, etc.

at least not two of the same kind of this one…

I have a bunch more small screens and microcontrollers and stuff and have some other weird ideas to make including some with matching sides.

Okay here is all 88 grams of it in a trapeze stall :joy: the electronics and custom fit cap are 17.2 grams so I had to break out the steel filled filament to match the weight.

I also had to throw carefully because it has a lithium battery in it and I don’t want to ding it and explode.

I have this insane idea I probably won’t have the time to actually pull off where it’s a video game. You throw a stall to start it. Then you control by rotating the yoyo in the stall. Maybe do a flip to jump. Accelerometer, some other sensors… there’s something there.

Got a Raspberry Pi case that is anodized and perfectly matches my Workhorse!

I’d love to find a case for my Mister that looks like that :star_struck:

I got it here!

They seem to only do Pi 5 cases though and this was the only Space Wagon one.

I was actually going to use a LattePanda to make an x86 Cyber Deck but this case was so freaking cool I couldn’t resist.

As good a place as any to post this considering 1) it’s a very retro game and 2) I already posted several yoyo electronic monstrosities here.

The whole idea of this Club Space was for us Boomers to be able to post whatever we like and not need to worry about staying confined to certain subjects. Feel free to express yourself here!! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I just made a nice discovery. I have Trompos Space Neptuno spin tops and really like them. I noticed the other day that the o-rings on mine were all cracking and dry rotting. Since I had the weight rings for the Workhorse lying about… I decided to try one. Not only is it a better fit than the original, it’s also heavier giving a much smoother play feel and improved spin time and power. This was with the light weight ring. I’m not sure where my heavies are but I imagine they could be even better.

So @rkalajian is retiring merch. Anyone mind if I setup the merch side if YYBC under the merch site I’m building for dmvthrowers so I can manage just one shop entity
