My head is finally warm.
What color dial phone did you have back in the day?
- Uninspired beige
- Boring brown
- Dubious green
- Insipid yellow
- Commissioner Gorden
- A different color
Our rotary was black. It’s still actually hooked up and functioning on the wall at my parents.
I don’t think my Grandparents still have their old Baby Blue Rotary, I’m 99% my Grandpa lost it in a flood.
Just a few years back (before Covid) I setup our office assistant with a hot pink rotary phone we had to setup on a digital to analog box to get working
I know there are a ton of colours for dial phones, I’m keen to know what yours that weren’t on the list were.
Red was the coolest, but I had a beige.
Incredible to think that anyone still has a phone on their wall these days!
Growing up my mother was really into using the phone. Our landline was always connected to someone and my mother chattering. My mom got a fancy white dial pad based wall mounted phone and an extra long phone cord so she could talk on it access the kitchen.
I don’t think we had a rotary but my grandmother did have a light green rotary in the basement for a period
ours was black
Classy.
I drew a design for a fixed axle aluminum yoyo as a joke, once.
I’m still waiting on the mk1 only pans YoYo .
Ours was also black. Edit… well is black.
Where is it? Asking for a friend That friend is me
Rethinking this now??? LOL
Our Rotary phone was Black.
I could design an AL Dead 'Orse. That would ensure people could get their hands on one.
This could be acceptable.
I mean a fixed axle AL Dead 'Orse.
