Not a whiskey but I always point people to try a bottle of Santa Fe Brewing Apple Brandy. Only one I drink straight, no rocks, no mix. I LOVE a Luxardo cherry and a spoon of syrup at the bottom.

I have a bottle of Laird’s. It’s all right. I should try to make a Manhattan with it but I’ve been really lazy with making cocktails lately.
I also love Luxardo cherries. I could eat them straight…

IM DANGEROUS around those cherries. A square of dark chocolate and a single cherry is a favorite treat of mine. But then it becomes the entire bar and half the jar of cherries and now I have an expensive stomach ache.

Boomer is just a state of mind, not a requirement. You a fan of old school, casual, responsives, thrown an Imperial once upon a time, etc., you’re good to go!

I do like to just do a casual imperial throw when I just want the yoyo feel and I do do casual yoyoing I have never really been one for “Showy” contest I just yoyo with my close friends.
Also where do I get extra duncan strings? Mine broke

I think most of us are millennials/gen x. I’m pretty sure there is at least one gen alpha among us also. It’s open to anybody who wants to claim the moniker yoyoboomer. You can read through the beginning of this thread or this to see if you align with our ways

Welcome to the thread.
The way you describe “Boomer” is exactly why we started the club. It may come off derogatory.
We took the term and are flipping it on its head. In the future, when you hear Yoyo Boomer, maybe we will come to mind;
A group of people having fun, not defined by stigma.
A group of people that “give back” to the community, hosting online events, donating to charities.
The truth is; We never defined a “Age” nor “Generation” requirement. The enjoyment of yoyo is timeless, maybe we will be too.
This is a place for people that Enjoy Yoyo for the Enjoyment of it. Again, nothing to do with age.
You will most likely never see us on a Competition Stage, or developing the next Meta trick. You may see a few of us DNA or complain about DNA.
We are open to everyone that wants to be involved, enjoy yoyo and set a positive example.
Only you can answer if you fit in.

Also yoyo boomer is also in reference to anyone who experienced the 90’s to early 2000’s yoyo boom. Hence yoyo boomer.
